 Calling all artists, photographers, and nature lovers......
A rare opportunity for you! Two nights lodging in an Old Stone Mill,
built in 1876, located amidst rolling hills and Amish farms. See the
Stone Farmhouse, built in 1749. This is a private estate property, made
available for this special occasion. Roam, paint and photograph at-will
all 53 acres.
Enjoy wooded hills, and stunning rock
out-croppings. Just hiking around is a delight. This beautiful remote,
rural farm is abundant with wildlife, teaming with birds, deer, etc. Do
you like fly fishing? The babbling Otter Creek is stocked with trout.
This event will be held rain or shine. Definitely off the beaten path.
By
car, we are located about 2 hours from Washington DC, 1 hour from
Baltimore, 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, 1 hour from Harrisburg, 3 1/2
hours from NYC, 45 minutes from Gettysburg, 1/2 hour from Lancaster.
Exact directions and location will be provided when you win this, and
are registered.
This event is a fund-raiser for Family Life
International, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, and it's well-known Hugs Not
Drugs® Project. All profits from this event go to the organization.
This is a tax-deductible donation, in accordance with IRS rules.
Four
(4) comfortable rooms are available in the Stone Mill. Three
accomodations have Queen beds, one accomodation has a double bed. One
accomodation with a Queen bed has a wood-burning stove, two rooms, a
refrigerator, and microwave. Three rooms suitable for double occupancy.
Bidding is for one person's visit only. Pretty views from all rooms.
First come, first served with room choices.
Meals:
Includes all meals. All meals served to all occupants at the same time.
Dinner, Friday evening after arrival. Breakfast, lunch (picnic lunch
optional), and dinner on Saturday, wine included. Breakfast and lunch
(picnic lunch optional) on Sunday. All meals served in the Stone
Farmhouse. Bring your snacks, if you wish. Refrigeration available.
Check in Friday at 3:00pm, June 2, 2006. Check out Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm, June 4. No children nor pets, please.
We
can only accomodate 7 people on this weekend adventure. If you lose
